If you can, get a few adapters with your programmer. If you buy the adapters separately, you will pay a lot more. My tip, get a bundle that has most of the adapters you might need now or in the future. Of course, if you only need it for DIP packaged ICs, then only the programmer is enough. I use the T56 – it is the newest model and supports the most ICs. The T48 seems to be good too, I just have no experience with it.
